Ethma: the indigo-skinned Ith.
‘What? That colour is important to them!’
Oooooo, Trish has got the angry eyes going on, I hope she’s about to bitch Ethma out, especially seeing how sad Blair looks at having the importance of her work put down.
FEAR MY ANGRY EYEBROWS!
They’re not even as giant as Henri’s and they still convey infinite angry!
They have Microsoft in space?
No, but the shell’s interface is very user-friendly to account for the fact that it is an essential tool that anyone on any mission should be able to use in case of emergency. It’s expected that the Navigator knows how to use it properly (and Endi does, but he’s a bit limited by his own knowledge of what an inconspicuous human SHOULD look like). Ethma isn’t expected to know a lot about it because her main concern is keeping everyone alive, but she can launch pre-made modules and make minor edits if she has to.
The unit itself layers disguises sort of like folder groups/file trees in photoshop/windows, which would make it easier for someone who’s pretty familiar with those to navigate and manipulate. It’s not space-photoshop, but it runs on similar principals, and since Axca’s onboard personality is wired into it, asking the right questions can generally smooth out any issues that someone just learning to use it might encounter.
somebody is grumpy!
I hate to be anal but it’s Palette not pallet. Damn’d homophones.
Are you normally anal? And *Damned*, not Damn’d.
Whoa, whoa. Wait. Axca didn’t accept English commands before now? But Cassi opened up that vent panel by yelling open…so is she latently telepathic/psychic/can speak with the Fiah/any alien race?
The Ith seem interested enough in Earth to have a notable base there.
And the Fiah seem interested enough in Earth to kidnap humans.
What is drawing this attention? Something special about humans, or just another sentient species about to go extinct?
(Or did R&C make a continuity error?)
Wow, I got to The End, apparently. It’s been an awesome 10 hour or so marathon. Love the comic! Will track it from now on.
