Bart Savage is one of the humans initially “relocated” by the crew of the Axca. Bart (and his wife, Heather) only learned that he was a father when his terminally ill ex-girlfriend reached out to him eight years after the fact–but he is determined to raise his daughter Cassi with love and care, regardless.
